There is a new tunnel at the entry to the Wairakei MTP park, enabling bikers to ride on the corkscrew and adjacent tracks, without having to cross the 'Horse Only' tracks.
This is especially ideal for the MTB races, now extending to all the new tracks in Wairakei.
