Taupo MTB Club Seeks Incorporation
The Taupo Mountain Bike Club committee has determined that the Club must become an Incorporated Society under the Act. The process has been commenced, and a draft constitution will soon be posted on this web site. Preliminary approval will be sought from IRD, to ensure that the draft constitution will allow us to have charitable, tax-free status. Then we will call a Special General Meeting (and we must have at least 15 members there please!) to approve the application to the Registrar of Incorporated Societies. (Club Secretary, 17 May 2004) |
